Organization

Our client is a leading Oil & Gas producer with a main focus on Safety. Their assets include light & heavy oil, mining and natural gas.


Currently they are looking to hire a Lead Asset Integrity Engineer for their operations in Northern Alberta with a main focus on providing leadership to a group of Inspectors and Engineers in order to ensure that the Asset Integrity Programs are executed with the utmost effectiveness.

Function

Within this position, the Lead Asset Integrity Engineer will be responsible for the implementation of inspections, repairs, risk assessments and corrosion management technologies for the asset he / she is responsible for. This will require a close working relationship with other internal groups within the plant.


Other responsibilities include the development of monitoring strategies and programs for loss containment purposes and establishing improvement programs that incorporate strategies, policies, procedure specifications and guidelines.


The Leader our client is looking for is capable of developing KPI’s to track program performance and is able to identify resources to troubleshoot problems with equipment as well as apply RCA (Root Case Analysis) practices to failure investigations. Alongside that, this position will require to provide support of the implementation of production uptime programs such as PM (Preventative Maintenance) and PdM (Predictive Maintenance).

Requirements

For this opportunity our client is looking for someone with an Engineering Degree combined with 10+ years of industry experience and registered (or eligibile to register) as a Professional Engineer in Alberta. Besides a proven, successful background in a leadership role, it is critical to be experienced in setting individual and team goals and creating overall development plans.


Technical expertise is required in Pressure Equipment regulations, Occupation Health and Safety (O&HS) Rules and Regulations & WCB as well as Visions (Asset Integrity Software).
