Within this position, the Project
Director will report into the Vice President of the division and will be
responsible for overseeing everything from design, construction
delivery to the maintenance of a Public Infrastructure Project.
Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Manage all construction project deliverables with a main focus on the design-build phase
Overseeing and leading assigned staff
Providing and reviewing financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Ensuring that contractual obligations are met
Communicating with all parties involved
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor Degree
in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar combined with
at least 10 years of experience within the construction field. A minimum
of 5 years leadership experience on Construction projects is required.
Since this is a position that requires a lot of interfacing with all
parties involved, it is critical the Project Director possesses strong
communication skills both oral and written. Computer skills are critical
as well and a strong understanding of legal terms regarding property
management, facility design and construction knowledge.
