Summary: Project Controls Analyst
This is a supporting role responsible for providing support to the PMO and Project Managers by providing quality and financial control to projects. Works with Project Managers to ensure financial and reporting information is accurate with a focus on financial information.
Provide direct support in relation to financial reporting and planning to Project Managers and Report information regarding projects directly to PMO Team
Monitor budget cost distributions including: Budget Reconciliation, Project Forecasting, and Monthly Financial Accruals
Maintain project documentation and records
Ad hoc invoicing, time sheet, and billing verification and reconciliation
Responding to project related queries through research and analysis
Must have minimum 2 years experience related to project cost tracking and control in a PROJECT (or Program) environment
Must have strong understanding of account reconciliation, accruals, forecasting and financial terminology
Possess basic level of Project Management skills.
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills deal with administrative duties on the project with lots of moving parts
Experience interface effectively with a broad range of contacts from technical staff to senior management.
Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and to work successfully under pressure.
Can deal with ambiguity and requests for change.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education preferred.
5+ years of related experience.
Finance, Planning, and Budgeting Projects
4 Yrs.Proven Project Management experience
Nice to Have:
Experience with SAP (PM & MM) modules
SAP preferred ERP system experience
